And because of the large temperature changes during shutdown and operation, the ball mill needs to adjust the valve to make the oil supply pressure reach 0.2-0.4MPa each time the ball mill is started. However, as the operating time increases, the lubricating oil temperature also increases and the viscosity continues to decrease. The pressure is further reduced. If the valve is not adjusted in time at this time and the pipeline resistance is increased, the continuous low oil supply pressure will cause the thin oil station to alarm and stop grinding.

Therefore, it is very important to do a good job of lubricating the ball mill after entering the winter.

Precautions for lubrication

1. Use low oil grade lubricating oil, oil quality is thinner, and better fluidity can be ensured when the temperature is low. Use high-grade lubricating oil, which has thicker oil quality and poor fluidity. If there is no heating and lubricating oil preheating device in the room, the oil pump station will not work at all;

2. At the beginning of winter, all lubricating oil should be discharged when the ball mill is put into continuous operation for one month, thoroughly cleaned and replaced with new oil;

3. When starting up, refueling or changing oil in winter, the oil should be heated to about 25°C in advance. If the grinding is stopped for more than 8 hours, the main bearing lubricating oil should be discharged and heated to 20°C before being poured into the bearing.

4. Equipped with large and small gear spray lubrication system to enhance the lubrication effect, reduce gear wear, automatically control the amount of fuel injection and display the working process to ensure a stable lubrication state;

5. Lubricants that have deteriorated or are dirty are not allowed to be used, and the new lubricating oil must be filtered before adding new lubricating oil;

6. The lubrication condition and oil level of each lubrication point are checked at least every four hours.
