16.jpgThe GGFBS application as the cement mixture in the concrete has been for over 40 years in UK, Germany since 1969. The new application study work started in China since 1990s. Chinese government issued the National Standard GB/T18046-2000 “Ground granulated blast furnace slag used for cement and concrete” in 2002. National standard “Mineral admixture for high strength and high performance concrete” was issued in 2002. It is in this file that states the GGBS can be named as the “mineral mixture” formally. From then on, the GGBFS has been developed so fast as a new industry and been widely used in various applications.

Xinxiang Great Wall Machinery supplies the “turnkey basis” service for the GGBFS Production Line. An annual capacity of 60000 GGBFS Plant has been established in 2011 by our company. All of the flowsheet is designed with the best technology in abroad and home, especially the GRMS 4641 Vertical Roller Mill.

  

 

  1. Concept of the GGBFS

The GGBFS means the ground granulated blast furnace slag. It is obtained by quenching molten iron slag (a by-product of iron and steel-making) from a blast furnace in water or steam, to produce a glassy, granular product that is then dried and ground into a fine powder.
