Great Wall Corporation invested CNY 50 million to build the slag powder demonstration and training base with annual production of 600,000t via the self-made GMRS 46.41 slag vertical roller mill in 2010.

There are several mainly purpose to build the slag powder demonstration and training base:

1. Let customers have a direct and clear knowledge about adopting grinding technology of vertical roller mill.

Customers used ball mill all the time, and have no clear and specific knowledge about vertical roller mill. After the slag powder demonstration and training base was completed, which is in favor of customers to watch and approve the advantages of vertical roller mill more convenient. Vertical roller mill, compare with ball mill, is occupying low area and compact allocation, as a result, there is a bit requirement to floor area of plant than before.

2. Let customers feel in person the stable operation, reliable quality, mature technology and safety of vertical roller mill.

After slag powder demonstration and training base was completed, customers can watch the operation of vertical roller mill on site, and watch the whole production process of materials from beginning feeding into equipment to final loading.

3. Show outstanding energy saving effect to customers.

From on-site production line, let customers see clearly that the time duration of materials in the mill is 2 to 4 minutes, is about one fifth of ball mill, and there is a separator in the mill. If the mill adopts LV selection powder technology, excessive grinding phenomenon can be eliminated basically.

4. Great Wall Corporation can provide on-site training for operators of customers.

Based on this slag powder production line, Great Wall Corporation can provide on-site training for operators, which can reduce the early learning of operators, as well as reduce the unnecessary troubles and losses due to not be familiar with whole set process of production line, and put production line into the normal and stable production as soon as possible.
